Butter

Epic mom fail here y’all!

So, my daughter had an eye appointment in another town on Wednesday. The appointment was at 8:35 and we left our town which is about a 50 minute drive away, at around 7:50 ish. My daughter calls the place about 8:15 to tell them we would be late. The receptionist tells us we may have to reschedule. She tells us to wait and when she gets back on the phone she said we could come at 9:45.

We decided to go to IHOP for breakfast since we now had some time to kill. My son who is the pickiest ever…first he wanted nothing. Then decided on a pancake and apple sauce.

Once our food came out I noticed he was eating all around the butter on his pancake. He usually requests no butter and will not eat syrup. I assumed he wasn’t going to the eat the butter so I dipped my toast in it!! The tears fell and he threw himself onto the seat and covered his head. I tried apologizing and he responded that he was saving it for the last!!

Y’all I laughed. Not on purpose…but I laughed!!
